Is being a Vampire or Witch a religion?
Witchcraft is a practice, not a religion. The practice of witchcraft can be found in many neo-pagan religions like Wicca, but it is not a religion itself. People who practice witchcraft (male or female) are called witches. Basically what witchcraft is, is working with natural energies around you and your own personal will to create a change or cause some action. There are many different interpretations to how this works, some people believe it is more paranormal, others believe that it has a lot to do with psychology, either way it really comes down to energy. As witchcraft is a practice not limited to one religion, you can be any religion you want and practice it. However there are religions such as Christianity or Islam that do not believe people should practice witchcraft, yet many of the practices especially in Christianity are similar to the workings in witchcraft. Burning candles is found in both, even prayer. Spells are essentially a prayer, only instead of involving God with it
