Is Bowing down, burning candles, praying, and worshipping to statues of Mary and Jesus allowed ?

Showing reverence for the holy person or event that is depicted is not worshiping statues or images. We don’t worship paints or canvases or plaster or wood, and we don’t believe this matter has any divine power no matter how you artistically arrange it. Burning candles is not a sin. Praying is not a sin. Christianity is not Judaism. In Christianity it’s INTENT that matters, not appearances. We don’t worship crosses, we hold as sacred the event of Jesus’ passion. We don’t worship statues or images, but we hold as sacred the person or event that is depicted. We also bow our heads, or say “Amen,” or something else that is reverent, in our minds whenever we hear Jesus’ holy name. That doesn’t mean we worship letters of the alphabet. There is a large chasm that separates Jews & Muslims from Christians. Sorry, but Muslims and Jews are completely dense on the subject of idolatry.
