Is Calypso’s facility Federally inspected?
Calypso Rum Cake is a registered company with the FDA. Production of the rum cakes is done in Barbados. Our cakes are inspected at customs and must pass through FDA rules and regulations upon entry to the United States. Our bakery operates under the international food safety standard, HACCP, a hazard analysis and control certification. Each and every step of production is carefully logged and stringent health standards are followed to ensure quality and safety is upheld. We have instituted this international health and safety program since our production began and take pride in our ability to sell all over the world giving our customers peace of mind.
