Is Carter’s sleepwear treated to prevent flammability?
We design our children’s sleepwear with a combination of fabrics and fits that do not require treatment with harsh chemicals to prevent flammability. Carter’s polyester sleepwear is naturally flame resistant, while our 100% cotton sleepwear is tight fitting, and therefore does not require additional fabric treatment. All Carter’s sleepwear products are clearly labeled as “sleepwear.” Only garments labeled as such should be considered sleepwear. All of our sleepwear products are created with children’s safety, health, and comfort in mind, and meet Consumer Product Safety Commission requirements.
