Cavalier uses a self-healing ring architecture in its fiber network design. This means if the cable is ever accidentally cut, all traffic is immediately reversed along the ring and there is no disruption to your service. Cavalier’s Lucent 5E & Nortel switches are equipped with both battery and diesel generation power back-up systems, so if the power ever fails Cavalier will continue to provide all of its customers ongoing telephone service, no matter how long it takes for power restoration.
