Is cells made up of atoms?
Yes atoms make up cells, but no atoms don’t make up everything like they say…to be truthful its more complex then that. Cells are the basic units of life, every living thing is made of cells. Cells are made up of many different microscopic structures. These are made up of thousands of different macromolecules, which are made up of smaller molecules. Molecules are made up of atoms of different elements. Atoms are made up of protons and neutrons in its nucleus and electrons going around the nucleus. To get more advanced protons and neutrons are made up of quarks, the smallest known units of matter. All matter is made up of leptons, an example being electrons, and quarks, which make up neutrons and protons. This actually means that not everything is made up of atoms, because there are different combinations of quarks then just protons and neutrons.
