Sampling is one of the inspection tools available to the CFIA to determine compliance with the regulations. The Nutrition Labelling Compliance Test, available on the CFIA web site, describes how the information in the Nutrition Facts table will be assessed. The CFIA works with industry so that industry understands and corrects violations.
