Apparently it will still be open during the redevelopment. Their website (there’s an FAQ about the redevelopment) says: “The Council has expressed that ‘continuity of service’ is a key requirement that the appointed developer needs to accommodate. This will mean, in so far as possible, that while the new centre is being built, the current building will remain open and operational.” http://www.chelmsford.gov.uk/index.cfm?a… However, I’m not sure if the larger Olympic size rink is going to replace the smaller existing rink (maybe you can read the FAQ’s more thoroughly).
