Not exactly. Blooming flowers, especially in Hawaii, can be wonderfully exotic. In chocolate however, bloom is not quite so lovely. Bloom occurs when chocolate has been exposed to heat causing it to turn dull or possibly even a gray or white. The chocolates are perfectly fine to eat; they just arent as pretty as when they left the factory. Please review our return and exchange policy for further information.  more

"Bloom" occurs when chocolate has been exposed to heat causing it to turn dull or possibly even to have a gray or white color. The chocolates are perfectly fine to eat; they just aren't as pretty as when they left the Island Princess factory.  more
