Is Cholinergic Urticaria Diet Related?
At this time, there is no strong evidence which suggests cholinergic urticaria is diet related. Some individuals may experience increase or decrease of symptoms when on certain diets, but this does not prove that diet is responsible for the symptoms directly. Often times, cholinergic urticaria may appear or disappear in individuals without any change in diet habits. Some individuals may choose to exclude spicy foods from their diet to help reduce the number of attacks.
