Is Continuing Legal Education (CLE) offered and is it mandatory in the State of Michigan?

Continuing Legal Education is not mandatory in the State of Michigan. Credits are mandatory, however, for those attorneys who accept criminal, probate, and juvenile appointments at the 6th Circuit Court. The Oakland County Bar Association is an accredited provider of this program and offers many classes throughout the year. They are held in the CLE Room at the bar offices.
