Is diplomacy the best weapon against terrorists?
Most definitely. First, we have to question whether our assumption that people labelled terrorists are all terrorists. A lot of people labelled terrorists by Bush and company are fighting American and European imperialism and occupation of their lands for bases, puppet governments securing US interests over its people’s interests, sources of oil, places to build franchises on the best land and other forms of economic exploitation. How many freedom fighters over time were called terrorists, troublemakers, and Communists and killed because of this? The red label of the Communist threat has been replaced by the terrorist label. Occupying these countries takes away the people’s freedom and destroys their countries. The Third world is the Third World because the powerful countries use their resources to get ahead and discard them like used batteries.
