Is DVD Studio Pro the tool for professional quality photo slideshows?

I shoot and work with RAW format in Aperture. I want to create slideshows and then show them both on the web and DVD. The quality of slideshow I am looking for is illustrated on the Aperture product web page under profiles. I am looking for input on what products I should be considering. Creating slideshows in IPhoto and then moving to IDVD project to DVD just does not produce the quality I am looking for. When I read about Studio Pro or Final Cut, it sounds to me like these are for video projects rather than slide shows. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
