Depending on how hard you work out you should eat a little bit withen 15mins of working out (a small meal, like an apple or banana or something). Then eat a real meal about an hour afterwards. Waiting 2 hours isn’t very good because it deprives your muscles of food and they sometimes digest themselves. If you give them a little bit of food they’ll start to heal themselves and continue as you sleep and probably burn off a little fat. Also waking up in the middle of the night to eat fruit isn’t a good idea. Almost anything you eat withen an hour of sleeping goes directly to fat.
