Is eating plain salt (non iodized) by itself on a regular basis “bad for you”?

It can be. I use to salt everything before I’ve even tasted it. Bad move on my part. It led to High blood pressure after I turned 33. I don’t use salt today and believe me food contains a lot of salt. I do sprinkle a tiny bit of iodized salt on my fries every so often, just to get the iodine.
