Is eating raw eggs kosher?
Technically all eggs from kosher animals are kosher and pareve (so, since predatory birds are not kosher, vulture eggs are not kosher) as long as they have not been fertilized and do not have any blood spots. Therefore, raw eggs are technically kosher (so you can taste cookie dough before baking), but eating them is not recommended for basic health reasons like salmonella.
