Acne and evening primrose oil work well together because primrose oil can be used to treat acne both internally and on the surface of the skin. Evening Primrose oil can be taken internally, and 3000 to 6000 milligrams are recommended per day for the treatment of acne. Topically, acne can be treated with Evening Primrose oil by applying the oil directly on the affected areas. Leave the oil on overnight, then wash your face well in the morning. This is how acne and evening primrose oil work together externally. Make sure it’s organic. I would recommend Weleda Calendolon Ointment for spots, acne scars. It really drys them out and fades the redness. An excellent ointment!!
