Is fallout New Vegas alot better than fallout 3?
It’s a whole heap of better than three. I’ve been playing a week and i’ve only touched on the true storyline maybe three times in all. Granted you could do that in fallout three, but i’ve had far more fun with New Vegas’ sidequests. From investigating a vault filled with plants and plant zombies, to helping ghouls commit suicide by launching them into the sky on missiles. The factions seem to add more to the storyline, but i’m not really sure how much. What i’ve played it feels like my second playthrough will be drastically different from this one. Of course i felt that way with three and was sorely disappointed. Karma isn’t important in this game, notoriety with the varying factions is….which makes things very nice and everything you do morally gray. Making certain factions mad cuts off certain quests so i know my second playthrough will be more different than just blowing up a town and having a few different endings for some quests.
