Is fear of the unknown a good motivator?

I don’t think so – it tends to foster an insular, introspective and isolationist mindset. The will to confront the unknown… that’s what has got the human race to where it is today. The search for knowledge is an invaluable motivator for our development as a species.

unfortunately for most humans it is, but there are a lucky few who have used it to do good for this world in making medicine, and developing ways to help you all live better and longer lives.

it was not fear of the unknown that made me come to know Jesus, it was being thankful that He loved me enough to die on the cross for me. What drew me to Jesus was His love.
