Is Forgetting Sarah Marshall a good film and worth watching?

Forgetting Sarah Marshall (2008) is a funny movie. However, I didn’t personally find the movie to be a great one. It is an above average comedy, but when I compare it to some of the other Apatow productions, it just doesn’t quite stack up. I loved Knocked Up, 40 Year Old Virgin, and Superbad, and comparing this movie to those I must say that I enjoyed both the storylines and the characters of those movies more than the ones found in Forgetting Sarah Marshall. I found myself laughing out loud a lot more with those three movies than this one. Having said that, Forgetting Sarah Marshall was entertaining. It is good for some laughs and has some touching moments as well. It is definitely funny and worth seeing. Just don’t go into it expecting it to be great and then you will not be disappointed.
