Is funding provided for attendance at national conferences?

0

All neurology residents are required to attend one academic conference annually, usually the American Academy of Neurology Conference. Residents are given time built into their clinical rotations to allow for attendance of at least one national conference. While this may change from year to year, for 2010-2011, the Stony Brook Neurology Department has allocated $1000 per resident to help cover the costs of conference attendance.
