Is global warming responsible for the “freak” weather we are experiencing?
Yes Global warming is responsible for global climate changes. Let me explain a few of them. Excessive flooding. Despite this seemingly being contradictory to global warming, in fact it is not. Flooding is caused by rainfall and rainfall is caused by clouds reaching their water holding thresh-hold. This thresh-hold is reached due to the evaporation of groundwater into the atmosphere. There have been a few isolated rain deluges in the planet’s history, what is changing is the occurrence of massive rain patterns around the globe which is culminating into even worse flooding in some area due to this cumulative effect. The United Kingdom and Texas are just the tip of the ice berg places like BC Canada, which are known for extreme amounts of rainfall broke all their records last winter and even experienced a tornado!
