Al Gore’s An Inconvenient Truth warned of global warming, spurring a much-needed rush of environmental fervor, but considerable evidence shows that some of America’s most prominent scientists and climatologists never agreed he had the goods; Gore was just “one of many misreading the scientific concensus [sic] on global warming.” (Roy W.
