colds and hay fever can cause loss of appetite because let’s face it nothing really tastes good when you have sinus problems. This is typically normal and will resolve itself once you’re feeling better. Just make sure the symptoms like congestion and coughing doesn’t get worse. If you start running a fever 101 or greater or you start having some trouble breathing then you may have a chest infection and need some antibiotics. Other than that your hunger will return when you’re all well.
