Is Hell’s Kitchen Chef Gordon Ramsay That Scary When The Cameras Are Off? Tuesday June 6, 2006 I can’t help but chuckle when I see the previews of the upcoming season of Hell’s Kitchen. Chef Gordon Ramsay is back to his scary, intimidating self — yelling at the chef wannabes and demanding perfection. On Monday, I asked Ramsay if he is half that tough when the cameras are off. “To be honest, I’m disciplined.
