Is Hemp for Horses legal?
Yes. Hemp is legal in over 35 countries worldwide including the USA, Canada, Great Britain, Germany, and France to name a few. Hemp oil and hemp derivatives can be legally imported sold or consumed in the USA, where hemp presently remains illegal to grow and cultivate. In 2004, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals overturned the Drug Enforcement Administration’s rule banning the use of hempseed in foods and held that hempseeds used in foods cannot be defined as drugs.
