Is hypocrisy an unavoidable characteristic of all religious cults?
Hello, no I don’t think it is unavoidable but it is certainly a tremendous challenge to try and live ones life according to the various scriptures, Mormon or otherwise. The morals of all churches have been called into question over the centuries and I am sure you have read all the reports of those Catholic priests who allegedly molested young boys and with the full knowledge it seems of the Church, all of which makes it even more disappointing. The Mormons, Scientologists etc etc are all fakes I am sorry to say. What they teach is pure invention…quite ingenious I must say, but pure fiction nonetheless. They have taken Christianity and put their own ‘spin on it’. To compound matters, the Bible in its present form is nothing like the Bible as it was intended to be, so their beliefs are already skewed before they start.
