Is Ibogaine able to deal with addiction to crack & cocaine?
Yes, very well and even with smaller Ibogaine dosages than those required for opiate addiction. The success rate is higher too. Is one treatment enough? Depends on what we mean enough for. The craving for it in the sense of chemically induced compulsive urge to “score” will be most likely gone and possibly no residual cravings will be felt for a couple of months (unless one relapses earlier, of course). Addiction is not just about cravings though and some changes require its technical time to implement. According to what I’ve observed, it usually takes about a (more or less “clean”) year to get rid of the strongest psychological ties to the drug and of the addiction-related personality changes. The first year is the risky time, when abstaining from a drug. (Doesn’t mean it’s not possible to relapse in the following years..!)
