Effective July 1, 2008, Implanon contraceptive implant is a Family PACT benefit. Implanon is reimbursable with HCPCS code J7307 (etonogestrel [contraceptive] implant system, including implant and supplies). Provider must bill code J7307 in conjunction with primary diagnosis code S301 or S302.
