Is infrared light visible?
Infrared light, or IR light is a part of the electromagnetic spectrum that is not visible to human eyes. It has a wavelength more than the visible light and it can detect heat emmitted by the objects. This property of the IR light is used for security systems to improve its quality. They are used as infrared illuminators in the night vision devices which allow the devices to see through the dark without the need of any additional illumination source.
