Is is ok for toddlers to want to drink grapefruit juice all day?

Toddlers want to do a lot of things! Fruit juice (particularly citrus fruit) is very acidic and can damage little teeth just as badly as fizzy drinks or sweets. It’s also acidic on the tummy so if I were you I would limit the grapefruit juice to one cup a day, and stick to water or milk the rest of the time. You should also dilute fruit juice with water to make it less concentrated. The other thing you should be aware of is not to brush your toddler’s teeth for at least 30 minutes before or after drinking acidic drinks like fruit juice (actually, the same goes for older children and adults too). This is because the fruit acid erodes the tooth enamel slightly and you need to leave the teeth for at least 30 minutes so that you don’t do more damage by brushing too soon. I used to stick to diluted natural pear or apple juices and only give water or milk after that.
