Is it advisable to give sedation for 7 month baby?
My son has had CT scans and MRIs since his was a baby the sedation medicine is perfectly fine. They just give them something to drink that makes them fall asleep. My son was never asleep for more than 30 mins, just enough for them to do the scans. Edit – It is definitely possible for them to be fasting for 6 hrs. I always tried to feed my son as much as possible the night before. I know it sounds hard but it will be fine. My son also just recently had neurosurgery and was fully sedated but he did fine with that too.
