Is it appropriate to include wine in a food gift basket intended for a family with children?
If you know that the adults of the household would enjoy the wine, then yes. If you aren’t sure that they would use the gift, then leave it out. If you choose to leave it out, you could substitute it with something else (maybe a bottle of delicious apple cider) that everyone could drink. If you do choose to include the wine, consider including something in the basket that would be especially enjoyable to the kids as well… that way both the parents and the kids get something for themselves.
