Is it better to claim from Paypal or Credit Card for not received Ebay items?
I would go to Paypal first, and go through the procedure of telling them that the item has not been received. They will ask the seller for a tracking number and proof of delivery; if the seller cannot provide this, Paypal should refund your full payment (including P&P), and will not charge you any fees. However, the refund depends on whether the seller has any funds in their account; if they have withdrawn all their funds, Paypal will have nothing to pay you back (Paypal don’t pay you their own money, they’re not that kind!). If you have difficulty in getting a refund through Paypal, you can try the credit card charge-back route. However, whether or not this succeeds depends on the terms and conditions of your particular credit card. Some issuers say that Paypal transactions are more like cash withdrawals, in that the mney goes from your credit card to your Paypal account, and then from your Paypal account to the seller – and not direct from your credit card to the seller. So they do n
