Is it better to put biodegradable plastics with a #7 in the recycle bin or the food waste bin?

Please put #7 plastics into the waste basket; they contaminate the recycling stream.  Keep in mind that once they are deposited in a landfill with the rest of your garbage, they will remain there for hundreds if not thousands of years because they only break  down in industrial composting facilities, nowhere else. There are plastics that are BOTH biodegradable and recyclable such as ENSObottles.com  Max Clark

It can be put into both, but choose the food waste bin if available. NOTE: not all #7 plastic is compostable. Make sure product says “compostable” before disposing in food waste bin.
