In most cases, dental implants are the treatment of choice. Implants prevent the unecessary drilling down of healthy teeth, allow one to floss normally and easily between teeth, and are usually easier to maintain. However, not all people are candidates for implants and not all areas of the mouth are always capable of receiving dental implants.
