Is it cheaper to buy electronic products from hong kong?
Hong kong is great for shopping advance and newest model of electronic products because they give you a lot of options instead of any super low price. If you are looking for iPod in partiuclar, it is unlikely to be any cheaper than USA – similar price. There could be tons of other options with similar function as iPod with reasonable good price or lower price. (Japan usually has even better and advance gadget than US. Taiwan product has reasonalbe quality and price. China made junks but usually selling about 1/3 price of Made in Japan or US – 3 China iJunk usually last longer than 1 iPod in most of the case.) I just came back from HK 4 days ago. My wife brought a new cell phone there – A cell similar to iPhone but in HTC brand – using mini-SD Ram for memory with digital carmera, mp3 player, movie player, pda, browser, GPS ready if you have a receiver and a whole bunch of functions that we haven’t explored yet – costs about 500usd.
