Is it illegal to sell movies of women being tied up and forced to have sex?
There are two possible interpretations to this question, and it is a matter of opinion which interpretation to use: (1) filming a real kidnapping and rape, and (2) producing a film depicting a fictional rape (just as films depict airline crashes, alien invasions from outer space, and escaped dinosaurs). The act of kidnapping and rape is clearly a crime having nothing to do with the first amendment. However, my answer is assuming the question means the latter: (2) a film depicting a fictional rape. I understand the question to be about events in which a woman is actually kidnapped, tied up, and forced to have sex, where this activity is filmed as it is taking place; and the question is about whether or not it is legal to sell these films. It seems clear to me, from the way the question is phrase
