Is it natural for spirits of recently departed people to attend their own funerals?
It is often thought you perhaps may wish to see those who attend for a purely inquisitive reason, but yes of course those who have recently passed over are still close to their past earthly life. There may be sadness for those who though only a breath away are in a state of deep loss. It is a difficult time and newly departed people who have little knowledge of spiritual existence are still coming to terms with their altered state of consciousness. At a recent funeral service I conducted, the spirit presence of lady was evident. During her last few months of illness prior to her early transition through cancer, the lady had spoken to meat great lengths about the spirit world that awaited her. Though the healing I gave could not physically cure the illness, healing did provide great comfort and eased away fear and sadness.
