Is it normal for my belly button piercing to still bleed occassionaly after a year?
No,this isn’t normal,I’ve had mine pierced for 9 years now.It could be infected or maybe the jewelry that you have in it isn’t of high quality,I would go out and buy a bar of Dial antibacterial soap and wash it with warm water and a wash cloth at least 3 times a day and see if it doesn’t help it improve,I would also invest in a good quality piece of jewelry,I would go to a tattoo shop and purchase it,they also have cleaning solutions there and you could speak to one of the piercers.If it doesn’t look better after doing this I think that you should make an appt.with a Dr.and get on some antibiotics.Try what I mentioned above and see if this doesn’t help you out.
