Is it normal for people to crave ice constanly?

0

It is not normal, constant ice chewing may be a sign of iron deficient anemia or a sign of obsessive-compulsive disorder. The craving for non-nutritional items such as ice, dirt, paper etc. is called pica. One needs to see an MD to rule out anemia as the cause of ice craving. Other than driving co-workers or others near by crazy listening to someone crunching all day, ice is not really harmful to the one chewing it.
