Is it OK to cook hot dogs in the microwave?
You can cook hot dogs in the microwave. They have plastic microwaveable plates that you can put the hot dogs on and cook them or you can just use any dish the microwave will not melt … however not for 15 minutes … your hot dog will explode. Put it on for a couple minutes and watch it. you will see it start to expand and maybe tear along the edges. After you get used to your microwave you’ll know how long to put foods in there for without totally ruining them. But if it was me I’d just put them on the grill. Take care and happy microwaving.
