Hi: There are many different plant specimens you can plant along with your vegetables. As long as you have the correct spacing, your Lemon tree will be find in your veggie garden. Your main goal in the garden is to properly prepare the soil and get the garden ready. Tilling the area several times will help with the health of your veggies and other plants. Raking it out, using natural compost or organic mushroom compost will give your veggies and plant a kick start. Organic mushroom compost is an organic fertilizer that will last up to one year. It doesn’t smell great, but your plants will love it. Once your garden is planted, and some pine straw around the plants, as this is great for helping retain moisture in the ground.
