The purpose of these partnerships is to further the goals of the BMENA Symposium by providing small grants to fund pilot projects that promote capacity-building in education through collaboration between community colleges in the United States and vocational institutions and technical and community colleges in the BMENA region. As part of the application process, the applicant U.S. community college should consult with the partner BMENA institution and demonstrate a high degree of collaboration in designing the implementation plan.
