Evolution IS a beautiful thing… Just be aware that “we are the superior evolution” is incorrect. In terms of intelligence and how we’ve used it to conquer the world around us then yes…but in terms of evolution we are actually physically pathetic….evolution is the adaption of life in its environment…the better suited it is to its environment the beter it has a chance of surivivng. So if you through a naked human being in Antartica we would NOT be superior…Penguins are superior in terms of evolution for the Antartic living. Anyway, there is indeed life outside our solar system and based on numbers there are likely lifeforms far more advanced than ours. It is highly unlikely they will share similarities to us (e.g. scifi likes to assume alien life will be bi-pedal hominids — almost certain not going to be true).
