Is it possible to convert a Ruger 10/22 into full auto?

Any semi auto can be converted to full auto with the right skills and/or parts and/or tools. The problem is that doing this could make the gun unsafe to the shooter and could at least seriously damage the gun. This is because most semi autos sold to civilians for “sporting” purposes simply are not designed to take the abuse of continuous fully automatic fire. Even the civilian versions of AKs and ARs and other military type rifles are not built with the same specs as their military and law enforcement counterparts. Even “bump firing,” the technique where you use the gun’s own recoil to simulate full auto fire, will damage your barrel and other parts if you do it too much. And then of course there is the legal question…ALL gun laws are an unconsitutional infringement on our rights, however the fact remains that as it stands now it is illegal to make or own a fully automatic firearm without filling out the proper forms and of course paying the fee (because its all just about the money
