Yes! Definitely achievable! I would recommend a qualified nutritionists advice, always. They are specialists with the broadest and most thorough knowledge of all kinds of diets. 

But generally, eggs and dairy foods are full of B12. You can also find it added to non-dairy milk alternatives, low-salt yeast extract (like Marmite and Veggie Mite) and breakfast cereals. Black eyed peas, lentils and spinach are chock full of folic acid – and again those yeast extract spreads are excellent for folate too. Remember, if you aren’t keen on them as spreads on toast you can add them as seasoning to your cooking. Marmite can add a dark, savouriness to your stews, marinades or soups.

In terms of iron, eggs, pulses, dried fruit and dark-green vegetables such as cabbages, broccoli and spring greens, wholemeal bread and fortified cereals are jam packed and work as great sources.

Protein is in so many whole foods, it is probably easiest to find in a vegetarian diet. Beyond dairy and eggs, tofu, lentils, nuts and nut butters, whole-wheat breads, soya milk and yogurts are all top heavy with proteins, as well as heaps of other nutritional benefits.

Don’t worry! You’re diet will still be abundant and various and you will get everything you need if you keep it varied and make thoughtful choices.

Yes it is possible but anemia can be caused by a deficiency in iron, vitamin B12, folate and in some instances protein.  The most important thing to do is find out the source of the anemia.  Once that deficiency is known, nutrient dense foods rich in vitamins and minerals can be incorporated into your diet even if you are vegetarian.

Yes it is possiable because anima is you have a low a iron level. The best way to bring up your iron level is by eating a lot of green vegtables.

You should definitely ask your doc first. But, I would say Yes, it’s possible. However, you should be very careful with your diet. You should remember that you need Vit B12 that veggies don’t have. As an option you can take it as a supplemet. I usually buy supps from Canadian Pharmacy where you can also read info about them.

It is an interesting question…Why do you want to eat a vegetarian diet? Do you want to lose weight? If yes, I can recommend you better way to do it.
