You can do this simply by using the link from Mulberry to the LDAP directory which lists everyone – staff and students – who are registered to use IT Services facilities. To look up someone’s email address using their family name (surname): From the Address menu select Search for Addresses; Check that the Find Items box is displaying using LDAP; Check that the Full Name option is selected (the button below Find Items, on the left); Select Ends With from the middle button. Type in the person’s family name (surname); Click on the Search button. You can also choose alternative searching criteria using the above buttons. To send the person a message, click their address in the results window, then click the Draft button just above it on the right. Use the Clear button to clear the search results window of the information found previously. If you get an error message when trying to search for addresses using LDAP, the probable reason is that the attributes have been incorrectly specified. T
