Is it possible to install a dedicated link between DTS exchange and subscriber premises for extending circuits?
Ans When the requirements of local circuits is large or when no reliable DTS medium is available to extend the circuit to subscriber premises,DTS can provide dedicated link on rent and guarantee basis. (Wherein the Deptt. bears the initail cost and charges). Normally the preferable option is that subscriber bears the initial cost of the link and DTS maintains the link at both ends at prescribed rates.These works are called contributory works.
