Is it possible to leave the visor open in good weather?
Riding without the visor or with an open visor can result in injury to the eyes and face through stones, dust, insects and other flying objects. The sun visor, when lowered, will provide protection from light impact from stones or insects but cannot protect from all hazards. We therefore recommend that you should always ride with your visor closed.
